Vasilis Skandalos is a graphic and motion designer currently based in Athens, working under the studio name Something Nue. His practice merges visual identity, typography, and motion, with a focus on creating expressive, contemporary work for brands, musicians, and cultural projects.
He studied Visual Communication Design at IEK Domi in Athens and has been active in the design and advertising industry for over a decade. Before founding his independent practice in 2023, he worked as a Designer and Art Director in creative studios and agencies, contributing to a wide range of commercial and cultural projects.
Today, alongside running Something Nue and collaborating with studios and clients across Europe, he teaches Motion Branding at Vakalo Art & Design College and leads workshops on motion-driven design.
