Combining the confessional character of the text and the symbolic power of the image, Yannis Pallis reflects on concepts such as subjective experience, memory, mental imprint and time. Trivial events, memories of the near -or distant- past, traumatic experiences, desires and thoughts are staged and represented, creating a series of self-contained stories with free narrative flow and open interpretations. Self-portraits, still-life photographs and texts are presented in sequence, towards a journey to common places and familiar poetic atmospheres through the dialectical relationship between creator and viewer.
