Vlavi Mag – Issue 1

Published by Antipodes

Vlavi is printed in a period of organized digitality, which also defines the book itself. We are in a world of interconnected texts that are constantly coming together and in every way referring to each other. In this period, Vlavi is printed to claim its own time and its own interconnectedness: a slow time that corresponds to the time of reading and writing, and an interconnectedness that corresponds to those who share the purposes of The Vlavi. In other words: our Harm is a Harm of the universal book, a harmful Harm with harmful purposes. Indicatively, the first issue includes opinion pieces on recent and past books, the first translation into Greek of bell hooks, Grace Paley and Eugene Thacker, an original short story by Lefteris Kalospyrou and one by Vivian Stergiou, an interview with the translator Alexandra Ioannidou, various texts on culture, and much, much more.
