Meet the Cutiez

✱ Cutiez Enamel Pin Collection

Small objects often carry the loudest personality. A pin may take up only a few centimetres of space, but once it is attached to a jacket, a tote bag, a hat or a backpack, it becomes a signal. It can be funny, sweet, strange, flirtatious, nostalgic or quietly personal. Redy.’s Cutiez Enamel Pins collection was created around this exact idea: turning miniature illustrated characters into wearable little statements.

They are cute, but not too polite. Decorative, but not silent.

The collection includes eight designs: Kitties, Cheeks, Love Eye, Flower Tiger, Croc, Birdy, Yummy and Flirty. Each one works as a tiny character with its own mood, somewhere between a mascot, a charm and a graphic inside joke. Together, they form a playful family of enamel pins designed for people who like their accessories expressive, colourful and a little unexpected. They are cute, but not too polite. Decorative, but not silent. Collectible, but also made to be worn.

The creative concept behind Cutiez begins with the idea of affection in miniature form. Pins are intimate objects because they are chosen deliberately and placed close to the body. Unlike a poster or a card, they travel with the person who wears them. They appear in everyday life: on the lapel of a denim jacket, on a canvas bag, next to other pins, on a favourite pouch, or as a small detail that changes the feeling of an outfit. For Redy., this made the pin format a perfect place to explore illustration as personality.

The Cutiez are not just decorative icons. They are small companions, each carrying a different kind of energy.

Created in collaboration with Danaillama, the collection brings Redy.’s playful visual universe into a compact, object-based format. The designs move between animals, eyes, sweetness, appetite, attitude and soft mischief. Kitties brings in feline charm and the universal appeal of cats. Croc, Birdy and Flower Tiger introduce a small illustrated bestiary, giving the collection a wilder and more character-driven side. Love Eye turns feeling and looking into one symbol, while Yummy and Flirty bring appetite, desire and humour into the mix. Cheeks adds the kind of cheeky visual joke that makes a tiny object feel instantly memorable.

The design approach relies on clarity, scale and immediate recognition. A pin is not a large canvas. It has to communicate fast. The illustration needs to be simple enough to read at a small size, but distinctive enough to feel designed rather than generic. This is where the collection finds its balance. Each Cutiez pin has a strong silhouette, a clear visual idea and a direct emotional tone. The result is an object that works from a distance as a colourful accent, and up close as a small piece of illustration with its own character.

Each Cutiez pin has a strong silhouette, a clear visual idea and a direct emotional tone.

Hard enamel was an important choice for the project. It gives the pins a polished, durable surface and allows the colours and outlines to feel clean and precise. This material direction supports the graphic nature of the designs, helping each character feel sharp, bright and object-like. At 3 cm, the pins are small enough to be wearable and easy to combine, but large enough to hold the illustration clearly. Each pin comes on a 6.5 × 10 cm card, turning the object into a small packaged edition rather than a loose accessory. The backing card also gives the pin a collectible feeling, connecting the tiny object to Redy.’s broader world of illustrated goods.

The functional detail matters too. Each pin is finished with a butterfly clutch, a standard and secure fastening system that makes it easy to attach, remove and reposition. With a 1 cm pin nail height, the pin is designed to work across different everyday surfaces and fabric thicknesses, from bags and jackets to pouches and accessories. These details may be small, but they are part of what makes the product useful in real life. A playful object still has to function well. The Cutiez collection is built around that balance between charm and practicality.

These are not plain accessories designed to disappear into an outfit. They are meant to interrupt it.

As a project, Cutiez fits naturally within Redy.’s approach to contemporary illustration and product design. Redy. often treats everyday objects as spaces for visual storytelling, and enamel pins are one of the most direct formats for that idea. They are accessible, giftable, easy to collect and easy to personalize. A single pin can say “I like cats,” “I like colour,” “I like weird little things,” or simply “this feels like me.” Worn together, they become a tiny visual language, a personal selection of moods, jokes and symbols.

The collection also reflects Redy.’s interest in small editions that feel emotional rather than neutral. These are not plain accessories designed to disappear into an outfit. They are meant to interrupt it, brighten it, make it less serious and more personal. They invite people to choose a favourite character, or to collect the whole family. They can be a small gift, a souvenir from Athens, a design object for pin collectors or a playful detail for someone who enjoys illustration in everyday life.

A pin does not need to be big to have attitude.

With Cutiez Enamel Pins, Redy. turns a simple accessory into a tiny illustrated world. The project is about scale, character and the pleasure of choosing something small that still feels specific. A pin does not need to be big to have attitude. Sometimes all it takes is three centimetres, a bright enamel surface and a little cuteness with teeth.
