✱ Playground Planners
Planning does not have to feel like discipline in its strictest form. It can be lighter than that. More colourful, more open, more human. Redy.’s Playground Planners collection was created around this idea: what if organization could feel less like control and more like play? What if the objects we use to structure our days could also bring movement, colour and joy back to the desk?
What if organization could feel less like control and more like play?
The collection includes two product types, each available in two colours: the Weekly Playground Planner and the Playground To-Do List, both in Lime Yellow and Pink Red. Designed by Studio Redy., the series brings together practical planning tools with a bright visual language that feels energetic without becoming overwhelming. It is stationery for people who want to stay organized, but do not want their workspace to feel cold, grey or overly serious.

The name of the collection says everything. Playground is not just a decorative title. It describes the attitude behind the project. A playground is a place where movement, rules, freedom, repetition, imagination and action all exist together. In the same way, planning is not only about listing tasks and crossing them out. It is about making space for the way a person actually moves through a week: work, habits, ideas, meals, priorities, moods, reminders, unfinished thoughts and sudden changes of direction.
A more joyful surface for everyday effort.
The creative concept behind Playground Planners comes from Redy.’s belief that productive work can give people role, rhythm and purpose, especially when it connects with who they are and what they care about. At the same time, we know how heavy work can feel when it becomes disconnected from personal expression. This collection does not pretend that a planner can solve that. Instead, it offers a small but meaningful shift: a more joyful surface for everyday effort. A way to bring colour, play and personal rhythm into the routines that shape our days.

The Weekly Playground Planner is designed as a generous A3 desk pad with 52 weekly sheets, one for every week of the year. Its size is part of its purpose. It is meant to live beside the keyboard, on the studio table, next to a notebook or under a moving pile of papers. It gives planning a physical presence again, pulling thoughts out of tabs, apps and notifications and placing them back onto paper. In a world where everything asks to be managed digitally, the A3 planner creates a different kind of focus: visible, tactile and always within reach.
One of its most useful features is that it works on both sides. One side functions as a weekly planner, structured for days, priorities, habits and practical planning. The other side becomes a scribble zone, open for notes, loose thoughts, sketches, calculations, lists or whatever does not yet have a fixed place. This double-sided structure makes the planner flexible during the workday. You can keep the weekly side visible when you need structure, then flip it over when you need space to think freely.
It moves with your needs instead of forcing every thought into one format.
The Playground To-Do List brings the same spirit into a smaller, daily format. At 10 × 14 cm, it is compact enough to sit next to your laptop, travel in a bag or stay close at hand for quick notes. With 80 pages, it is designed for everyday use: tasks, priorities, reminders, mood tracking and even a song of the day. That last detail matters. It reminds us that a day is not only made of things to finish. It also has tone, rhythm and feeling. A to-do list can be practical, but it can also leave room for small pleasures.

The design approach of the collection is direct and optimistic. Lime Yellow and Pink Red were chosen not as soft background colours, but as active visual ingredients. They bring brightness to the desk and make the products easy to notice, use and return to. The layouts are structured, but not rigid. They offer enough guidance to help organize the day, while leaving room for handwriting, movement and personal improvisation. This balance is at the heart of the project: clarity without stiffness, productivity without dullness.

Both products are printed offset on 100 gsm paper, giving the collection a practical everyday quality. The A3 planner includes 52 weekly pages, while the To-Do List includes 80 pages. Designed by Studio Redy., the series reflects Redy.’s broader approach to stationery: functional objects should still have character. They should help us do things, but also make us feel something while using them.

With Playground Planners, Redy. turns organization into a more playful daily ritual. These are tools for planning, but also for thinking, scribbling, dreaming, adjusting and starting again. They are made for desks that change during the day, for people who like colour with their structure, and for anyone who wants productivity to feel a little less like pressure and a little more like possibility.
