We haven’t learned how to love ourselves, how to take care of ourselves, how to give ourselves space and a voice. We ignore our own needs, until our body steps in to remind us, often in ways we don’t understand or choose not to see. When self-care and self-love are missing, how can we truly offer love to the people around us? Isn’t it only natural to struggle in our relationships when we haven’t first filled ourselves from the inside out? Turning inward with love is not selfish. It’s necessary. It’s foundational. It’s the beginning of truly knowing who we are and learning how to love deeply and honestly. I offer you a design, but you bring the colors and the method markers, colored pencils, crayons, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, collage, or whatever your imagination craves…Don’t overthink it.
