Wanna? Collection

Wanna? Collection

Some collections are designed to decorate a wall. Others are designed to start a conversation. Redy.’s Wanna? Collection belongs to the second kind: a bold illustrated series about consent, desire, boundaries and the importance of asking clearly. Built around five direct questions, Wanna Play?, Wanna Play? - Banana, Wanna F*ck?, Wanna Lick? and Wanna Taste?, the collection uses humour, colour and graphic confidence to make a social message impossible to ignore.

At the heart of the project is one simple but essential idea: consent should be clear, mutual and respected. The repeated phrase “Always know no means no” appears across the series, grounding the playful visuals in a serious message. The collection does not treat consent as something abstract or hidden between the lines. It brings it to the front, in big letters, loud colour and unmistakable language.

The question Wanna? becomes the core of the project, not only as a flirtatious opening, but as a reminder that asking matters.

The creative concept behind the series is based on contrast. The artworks are funny, bright and visually seductive, but the message underneath is firm. This tension gives the collection its energy. It speaks in the language of pop culture, party posters, stickers, street graphics and cheeky visual humour, but uses that language to talk about something deeply important. Instead of presenting consent through fear or distance, Wanna? approaches it through recognition. The viewer understands the joke, enjoys the image, and then meets the message directly.

Conceived and designed by Danaillama, the collection carries a deliberately loud and unapologetic visual identity. Oversized hand-drawn lettering dominates the compositions, turning each question into a graphic shout. The typography feels rough, human and full of attitude, refusing the perfection of polished digital type. Around the words, simple illustrated symbols create quick, memorable associations: a tiger, a strawberry, a banana, a group of playful objects, a hand, a piece of food. The imagery is direct, almost poster-like, giving each design the immediacy of a visual statement.

Colour plays a central role in the collection’s impact. The posters use saturated backgrounds, strong contrasts and unexpected combinations: deep green with electric pink, blue with yellow, red with off-white, bright fruit tones and bold graphic shapes. These colour choices make the works feel joyful and confrontational at the same time. They are made to catch the eye from a distance, but also to hold attention through their details. The result is a collection that feels playful without becoming soft, and provocative without losing its clarity.

Each design brings a different tone to the shared message. Wanna F*ck? is the most direct and confrontational, pairing a bold question with a tiger that makes the image feel fierce, funny and impossible to ignore. Wanna Lick? uses the sweetness of a strawberry and melting cream to bring desire into a more sensual, pop-inspired space. Wanna Play? - Banana turns innuendo into a graphic joke, keeping the mood cheeky and cartoon-like. Wanna Play? - Toys expands the theme into a collection of suggestive icons, objects and symbols, creating a visual inventory of pleasure, curiosity and boundaries. Wanna Taste? connects appetite and intimacy through a hand, a mouth-like form and a strong typographic rhythm. Across all five designs, the same message returns: desire can be playful, but respect is non-negotiable.

The format of the collection was developed to allow the message to live in different contexts. As posters, the artworks become loud graphic statements for walls, studios, bedrooms, shops or social spaces. As cards, they become smaller, more personal objects that can be gifted, collected or sent with humour and intention. As notebooks, the designs move into daily life, turning a functional object into a bold personal accessory. This flexibility is important to the project. The message is not locked inside one format. It can be displayed, shared, carried and used.

The posters and cards are available in 13 × 18 cm, 30 × 40 cm and 50 × 70 cm formats. They are printed with DP HP Indigo Press on Old Mill Bianco natural paper, with paper weights selected for each size: 300 gsm for the 13 × 18 cm card, 250 gsm for the 30 × 40 cm poster and 130 gsm for the 50 × 70 cm poster. The notebooks measure 16 × 21.5 cm and include 128 plain pages on Arena Rough Natural 120 gsm paper, with covers printed in Offset CMYK. Designed and produced in Greece, the collection reflects Redy.’s commitment to locally developed design objects with a strong visual and cultural point of view.

The collection asks loudly, answers clearly and reminds us that no matter the mood, the colour or the joke, no means no.

As a project, Wanna? sits between illustration, social messaging and everyday design. It is not only about making beautiful objects, but about using graphic language to say something that matters. The collection understands that serious ideas do not always need to look serious. Sometimes a bright poster, a cheeky phrase or a bold notebook cover can open a conversation more naturally than a formal campaign.

Wanna? is for people who like design with humour, attitude and purpose. For people who want their walls, cards and notebooks to say something. For people who believe that desire can be joyful, playful and expressive, as long as it remains clear, mutual and respectful. It is a collection that asks loudly, answers clearly and reminds us that no matter the mood, the colour or the joke, no means no.
